About the Counselor

^{I want to take a moment to tell you a little about me. I am native of Coldwater, MS. I attended Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS "Go Bulldogs" where I received my bachelors degree of Social Work in 2000. I obtained my Masters degree in Education and School Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University. I live in Memphis, I am married and we have an 22 year old son who is student at Austin Peay State University.}

^{This will be my sixth year as a School Counselor. However, I have experience of being a Social Worker for over 20 years. I worked for Lakeside Behavioral Health as a Counselor for DeSoto County Schools, as well as a Counselor for the State of TN Department of Human Services, and prior to Appling Middle I was Director of Social Services for a Nursing & Rehab facility in Memphis.}
