Updates and Announcements week of April 30

We had a wonderful trip to St. Louis this weekend with our honor and jazz bands and Appling orchestra!  Our groups performed well.... honor band receiving an excellent rating and 2nd place and jazz band receiving an excellent rating and 1st place.  Thank you to all of the parents and chaperones who helped and thank you to Mrs. Taylor who went as our administrator support..... you are AWESOME!  We had a great time going to the city museum, Six Flags, science museum, and Lamberts.
The honor and jazz band will be performing Monday night at the 6th grade orientation night.  Jazz band is to be here at 5:20 wearing their jazz band black uniform (we will perform before it starts 5:40-6) and honor band is to be here at 5:30 in the band room to change into uniforms (bring black shoes and socks) and begin to warm up.  We will have parents keep them in the band room until our time to perform.  I have asked that we are one of the first groups to perform, so we should be finished around 6:15/6:20.
