Parents, all of your students should have brought home a Parent/Student Contract for you both to sign and return to school. In case they have lost it, I am attaching it here.

Please have your students bring these back to their homeroom teachers ASAP!!!

Tuesday, August 29th, we will be having a test over multiplying integers and order of operations. 

 

This was a challenging section and I told my students on Friday that if they wanted to stay late on tomorrow after school I will be willing to do some extra practice/ group tutoring for the test on Tuesday! :) 

Not required- just an option for your students to stay after school tomorrow from 2:15-3:00 to get some extra practice in!

This week, your students have been learning how to add and subtract integers. We will be having our first math test over this topic on Friday!

 

I have confidence in their ability that they have brought with them so far and have already seen growth! I know they will be ready on Friday! :) 

Math Facts are passed out on Monday of every week. They are a review from your students 6th grade material. They will work on their Math Facts on Monday, I will work examples and we will go over any questions on Tuesday, and on Thursday we will have the EXACT same problems as a quiz. 

This is to practice speed for their TCAP tests. 

This will be a weekly routine. 

 

The first Math Facts quiz is tomorrow over simple computations: adding and subtracting multiple digit numbers. 

The students know- Just a reminder! :) 

Laptop distribution for returning students to Appling will begin on Wednesday.  You can pay online or send in insurance money beginning Monday. I am posting the form for details under my "useful forms and documents" tab. :)
